Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum at Payson City Office building admission is free.
The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum in Payson has an authentic-looking log cabin right inside, completely furnished with pioneer relics. The museum houses a collection of pioneer artifacts dating back approximately 150 years. Founded in 1901, the Daughters of Utah Pioneers states that the purpose of the organization is "to perpetuate the names and achievements of the men, women and children who were the pioneers in founding this commonwealth by preserving old landmarks, marking historical places, collecting artifacts and histories, establishing a library of historical matter and securing manuscripts, photographs, maps, and all such data as shall aid in perfecting a record of the Utah pioneers."

Nebo Loop National Scenic Byway, Length: 38 miles, Time to Allow: 1.5 hours
The Mt. Nebo National Scenic Byway is a photographer's dream with numerous overlooks and wildlife viewing opportunities. The byway crosses the national forest between Nephi and Payson, climbing to over 9,000 ft. and offering views of the Utah Valley and the Wasatch Mountains. A unique scenic sandstone's startling red color contrasts sharply with the mountain greenery.
